These two magpies live at the bottom of my garden. They have had a few years of raising their young with us, coming down into the garden each day to collect the seeds from the lawn. I collect their feathers whenever they gift them to me, using them for my feather drawings. They are quite shy, always waiting until the other birds have finished feeding before they come down. A few skirmishes with a family of jackdaws and always noisy raising the alarm when one of my cats is in the garden. They don't bother about Ted my fat cat, I think they have worked out by now that he can't be bothered.
The birds are painted in oil paint on a wood panel 16" x 12". It is available either framed or unframed. The frame is a black wooden plain frame with sanded lighter edges or you can arrange framing yourself, just let your framer know it is painted in oils.
