Garden Cricket

This painting has won an ICC (International Cricket Council) art competition.  They asked us to submit our pieces of art capturing cricket in lockdown.  I painted Mark Church who is a cricket commentator and has been keeping us entertained on Twitter playing cricket in his garden against the garden furniture.

My painting of Jofra hanging on his wall with his world cup winners medal looped over it. He said he couldn't think of anywhere better for it to go. 

May 2019: I was invited to write an article for Painters Online (The Artist Magazine) newsletter.  Since drawing expressively with charcoal is one of my favourite activities I decided to write about that.  You can read the full article here: Draw a robin in charcoal  

May 2019: I was recently lucky enough to be a finalist in the 2019 Wildlife Artist of the Year exhibition at the Mall Galleries.  My painting The Dragon in my Garden was represented in the 'Wings' category, it sold at the exhibition. It was an exciting & inspiring exhibition to be part of and I was lucky enough to meet the buyers of my piece.

My painting of 'Offa' is featured in March's edition of the Artist & Illustrator Magazine.

Chester Racecourse - Easter 2016

As part of the Chester Food Festival the Grosvenor Art Society had a whole marquee dedicated to ArtFest.  It was a show piece of such mixed styles and genres, a pure delight for any art fan.
