Drawn from life these are two magpie feathers that I collected whilst out walking with my dog Charlie. The feather on the left I found first, I loved the distinctive white marking and decided to hold on to it until I found a similar looking feather. Eventually nature gifted the second feather and I had a pair. A pair of magpies - two for joy and it's been a joy to draw them.
They are drawn in pencil on top of a watercolour wash on watercolour paper. They are mounted and framed in a vintage grey frame to 10 x 8" and can be hung on a wall or will stand on a surface.
