I love female blackbirds, they are so fierce looking after babies who are bigger than them and stunning but grumpy husbands. This particular lady worked tiredlessly feeding her two babies from my bird tables. She was the first one out on to the table each morning after I'd spread out the feed. The name Mrs Patmore (from Downton Abbey) was suggested to me on Instagram and seems perfect.
Painted expressively with oil paint on Arches oil paper to 16" x 12" , unframed. Shipped flat with protection.
